The sky is dark,
The love is bright,
Won't you come see the stars tonight?
Being innocent
Ain't so easy no more.
the TV's blaring with hate and violence
showing images yo can't ignore.
Oh, you huddled masses, look up!
Admire the world's beauty and love one another!
Don't stare at teh computer screen or
shout at your siblings or mother.
Why can't life be so simple?
Why can't we all wear a smile each day?
Why can't we wake up at night
and, to each other, say
